South Coast Makers showcases the best of local creativity and indie businesses from the South Coast of England. From our humble beginnings as a pop up makers market in our hometown of Bournemouth to our perminant shop in the center of town at Bobby's Emporium, full of unique handmade crafts, locally produced food & drinks, second hand vinyl & gifts for all occasions. And now to our new website where you can shop small with us even when you find yourself far from the south coast. During the summer months you'll find us popping up at different events, join our mailing list to be the first to hear what we're up to!

All the products we stock are made in the UK. Most often you'll find that we stock products that are made in Dorset, either by small businesses or local makers. Please refer to specific product listings to discover where they're made.

No - we started as a makers market in Bournemouth and continue to work alongside many local creatives. However, we now stock makers work from all over the UK.

Yes we pride ourselves in sourcing and selling ethically made products. Our makers also have an ethical approach to their own products. It is very important for us as a local brand to keep to our values.

Generally speaking our products are available all year, bearing in mnd when it comes to seasonal times of the year eg christmas, easter and so forth our products tend to lean toward these festive seasons.

yes, all the skincare products are cruelty free and made from natural sources

Absolutely, all the produce is stock check and reordered on a weekly basis, and the makers restock their products regularly. If something is sold out we request makers to stock up on their products.

In-Store Questions

The shop is located in Bobby's Emporium, on the Lower Ground Floor of Bobbys and Co. You can enter either through the main ground floor doors and take the stairs or lift downstairs. Our opening hours are Monday - Saturday 10 - 5.30 and Sunday 10.30 - 4.30

When your order is dispatched from us you will receive an email. We ship with Royal Mail using 48 Tracked postage, which hopes to deliver your parcel within 2-3 days. You will receive a tracking number in your dispatch email so you can track which you can use to find out where your parcel is at any given time.

Everything we have available online is also available in store, but stock levels are subject to change. We also stock more variety in our physical store located in Bournemouth.

Yes. As long as the item is in the same condition as when delivered it can be returned to our Bournemouth store.

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

Online Orders & Delivery

All over the UK except Northern Ireland.

Your postage will be calculated via the weight and size of the products you've bought. We ship with Royal Mail 48 Tracked, so depending on what you've ordered, postage starts at £1.55. Plus a Fixed packaging price of (to discuss with Jo and insert)

You will receive a dispatch email when your order leaves us. We ship with Royal Mail 48 Tracked so you'll have a tracking number to check the progress of your order and it's due date. We aim to get orders out within 48hrs of ordering.

Unfortunately not at the moment.

You'll receive an email when your order is complete as well as one when your order is dispatched. In your dispatch email will be your unique Royal Mail tracking number which you can use to track your order's expected arrival date and time.
